The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 216(3) of the Equality Act 2010( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Equality Act 2010 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2011.

Provisions coming into force on 11th July 2011

2. The following provisions of the Equality Act 2010 come into force on 11th July 2011—

(a) section 37;

(b) section 202(1) so far as it relates to the provisions set out in paragraphs (c) and (d);

(c) section 202(3);

(d) section 202(4) so far as it inserts subsections (3B) and (3C) into section 6A of the Civil Partnership Act 2004( 2 ) (power to approve premises for the registration of civil partnerships).
