The Church of England Pensions (Sodor and Man) (Amendment) Regulations 2011

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2)

In accordance with section 6(4) of the Clergy Pensions (Amendment) Measure 1972( 1 ) these Regulations have been prepared by the Church of England Pensions Board and laid before the General Synod with the concurrence of the Church Commissioners.

The General Synod, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of that Measure, approves the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. β€”(1) These regulations may be cited as the Church of England Pensions (Sodor and Man) (Amendment) Regulations 2011.

(2) They come into force on the day immediately following the day on which they are approved by the General Synod.

2. In Schedule 1 to the Church of England Pensions Regulations 1988( 2 ), at the end of paragraph 2, insert β€œand in the table β€œ dean ” does not include the office of dean of the cathedral church of the diocese of Sodor and Man”.
