The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972( 1 ).

The Secretary of State has been designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to food (including drink)( 2 ).

As required by Article 9 of Regulation 3 ), there has been open and transparent public consultation during the preparation and evaluation of these Regulations.

Title and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Food (Jelly Mini-Cups) (Emergency Control) (England) (Revocation) Regulations 2011 and come into force on 31st March 2011.

Revocation

2.The Food (Jelly Mini-Cups) (Emergency Control) (England) Regulations 2009( 4 ) are revoked.
