The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by sections 30, 31 and 37(1)( 1 ) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971( 2 ).

In accordance with section 31(3) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted with the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs.

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Licence Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and shall come into force on 3 rd October 2011.

Amendment of the Misuse of Drugs (Licence Fees) Regulations 2010

2. Regulation 1(3) of the Misuse of Drugs (Licence Fees) Regulations 2010( 3 ) is revoked, and for “Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent” in the heading to that regulation there is substituted “Citation, commencement and interpretation”.
