The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 29(5)(h) of the Criminal Justice Act 2003( 1 ):

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 2003 (New Method of Instituting Proceedings) (Public Prosecutor Specification) Order 2011 and comes into force on 3rd October 2011.

2. Transport for London( 2 ) is specified as a public prosecutor for the purposes of section 29 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003.
