Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 1st November 2011.
(2) In this Order—
“the trustees” means the trustees for the Oxford University Hospitals National Health Service Trust( 3 );
“the old Trust” means the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre National Health Service Trust( 4 );
“the trust property” means the property specified in the schedule of trust property prepared and agreed by the old Trust and the trustees and signed on behalf of the old Trust and on behalf of the trustees on 9th September 2011( 5 ).
Transfer of trust property
2. —(1) On the date that this Order comes into force the trust property, and any rights and liabilities arising from that property, shall be transferred from the old Trust to the trustees.
(2) In any instrument relating to the trust property, any reference to the trustees of the trust property or to the old Trust shall be construed as a reference to the trustees.

The trustees for the Oxford University Hospitals National Health Service Trust were appointed by the Secretary of State in exercise of powers in section 11 of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c.19) , now paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 to the National Health Service Act 2006. See S.I. 2003/1093 .

The trustees signed the schedule on 9th September 2011 in the name of the trustees for the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals National Health Service Trust which name has been changed to the Oxford University Hospitals National Health Service Trust.
