The Freedom of Information (Designation as Public Authorities) Order 2011

Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5(1)(a) and (2) and 7(5) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000( 1 ).
In accordance with section 5(3) of that Act( 2 ) the Secretary of State has consulted representatives of persons to whom the Order relates.
A draft of this Order was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 82(2)(a) of that Act.
Citation and commencement
1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Designation as Public Authorities) Order 2011.
(2) This Order comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
Persons designated as Public Authorities
2. The persons listed in column 1 of the Schedule are designated as public authorities under section 5(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 with respect to the function or functions specified in column 2.
