The Public Bodies Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2012

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(3) of the Public Bodies Act 2011( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Bodies Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2012.

Commencement

2. —(1) Section 30(4) to (8) of the Public Bodies Act 2011 comes into force on 1st July 2012.

(2) The following provisions of the Public Bodies Act 2011 come into force at 0.02 a.m. on 1st July 2012—

(a) section 30(1) and (2);

(b) section 30(3) and Schedule 6, except in so far as they relate to the repeals of sections 14, 15 and 17 of the Regional Development Agencies Act 1998( 2 ) and section 36(3)(c) of the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006( 3 ).
