The Secretary of State for Health, considering it to be appropriate in the interests of the health service, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 65B(1) and (3) and 272(7) of the National Health Service Act 2006( 1 ).
The Secretary of State for Health makes this Order following the completion of the consultation required under section 65B(4) of the National Health Service Act 2006.
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. β(1) This Order may be cited as the South London Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Appointment of Trust Special Administrator) Order 2012 and comes into force on 16th July 2012.
(2) In this Order, βthe trustβ means the South London Healthcare National Health ServiceTrust( 2 ).
Appointment of a trust special administrator
2. β(1) A trust special administrator is authorised to be appointed to exercise the functions of the chairman and directors of the trust.
(2) The appointment of the trust special administrator appointed to the trust pursuant to paragraph (1) takes effect on 16th July 2012.
