The Lord Chancellor, after consulting the Lord Chief Justice, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(6) and Part 1 of Schedule 11 to the Children Act 1989( 1 ).

Citation and Commencement

1. This Order shall be cited as the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2012 and shall come into force on 10th September 2012.

Revocation of jurisdiction

2. Pontefract County Court shall cease to be a family hearing centre.

Amendments to the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008

3.The Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings Order 2008( 2 ) shall be amended by omitting the entry in Schedule 1 to that Order relating to Pontefract County Court.
