The Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2012

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 151(1) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2012.

Provision coming into force on 1st September 2012

2. Section 144 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (offence of squatting in a residential building) comes into force on 1st September 2012.
