The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 58(6)(d) and 99 of the Pensions Act 2008(1), makes the following Order.

Citation, commencement and interpretationI1

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the [F2SettlementF2] Agreements (Automatic Enrolment) (Description of Person) Order 2012 and comes into force on 1st July 2012.

(2) In this Order—

regulatory arrangements” has the same meaning as in section 21 of the Legal Services Act 2007 ( 2 );

ILEX” means the Institute of Legal Executives.

Person specifiedI2

2. A person authorised by ILEX to practise as a legal executive who is practising subject to the regulatory arrangements of ILEX is specified for the purposes of section 58(5)(c) of the Pensions Act 2008.
