The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 113A(6) and 125 of the Police Act 1997( 1 ) as extended and modified by the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) (Jersey) Order 2010( 2 ).

Citation, commencement and extent

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2012 and come into force on 19th November 2012.

(2) These Regulations extend to Jersey.

Amendment of the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) Regulations 2010

2. In regulation 8 of the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records and Registration) (Jersey) Regulations 2010(central records: prescribed details)( 3 ) for “National Policing Improvement Agency” substitute “Secretary of State”.

1997 c. 50 . Section 113A was inserted by section 163(2) of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (c. 15) . There are amendments but none relevant to these Regulations.
