The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 8B(5) of the Immigration Act 1971( 1 ).

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment No. 3) Order 2012 and shall come into force on 7th December 2012.

2. —(1) Part 2 of the Schedule to the Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) Order 2000( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) For the paragraph beginning “Council Decision 2010/639/CFSP of 25 October 2010 (Belarus)” substitute “Council Decision 2012/642/CFSP of 15 October 2012 (Belarus)( 3 ).”.

(3) After “Council Decision 2012/285/CFSP of 31 May 2012 (Republic of Guinea-Bissau)” insert “as implemented by Council Implementing Decision 2012/516/CFSP of 24 September 2012 (Republic of Guinea-Bissau)( 4 )”.

(4) After “as amended by Council Decision 2012/457/CFSP of 2 August 2012 (Iran)” insert “and as amended by Council Decision 2012/635/CFSP of 15 October 2012 (Iran)( 5 )”.

(5) After “as amended by Council Decision 2012/170/CFSP of 23 March 2012 (Republic of Moldova)” insert “and as amended by Council Decision 2012/527/CFSP of 27 September 2012 (Republic of Moldova)( 6 )”.

(6) After “as amended by Council Decision 2012/388/CFSP of 16 July 2012 (Somalia)” insert “and as amended by Council Decision 2012/633/CFSP of 15 October 2012 (Somalia)( 7 )”.

(7) For the paragraph beginning “Council Decision 2011/782/CFSP of 1 December 2011 (Syria)” substitute “Council Decision 2012/739/CFSP of 29 November 2012 (Syria)( 8 ).”.
