The Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2012

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 157(1) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011( 1 ).

Citation and interpretation

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2012.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 .

Provisions coming into force on 22nd March 2012

2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act is 22nd March 2012—

(a) section 105(1) and (3) (premises licences: who may make relevant representations) for the purposes of making regulations under the provision inserted by subsection (3)(b);

(b) section 106(1), (2), (4) and (6) (premises licences: who may apply for review) for the purposes of making regulations under the provisions inserted by subsections (2), (4) and (6);

(c) section 107(1) and (3) (club premises certificates: who may make relevant representations) for the purposes of making regulations under the provision inserted by subsection (3)(b);

(d) section 108(1) and (3) (club premises certificates: who may apply for review) for the purposes of making regulations under the provisions inserted by subsection (3);

(e) section 113(1) and (3) (temporary event notices: conditions) for the purposes of making regulations under the provision inserted by subsection (3);

(f) section 114(1) and (7) (temporary event notices: late notices) for the purposes of making regulations under the provision inserted by subsection (7);

(g) section 115(1) and (2) (relaxation of time limits applying to temporary event notices) for the purposes of making regulations in accordance with the provisions inserted by subsection (2)( 2 ); and

(h) section 118(1) and (3) (persistently selling alcohol to children) for the purposes of making regulations in accordance with the provisions inserted by subsection (3)( 3 ).
