The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Commencement No. 18) Order 2013

The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 170(3) and (4) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Commencement No. 18) Order 2013.

Appointed day for provisions relating to pharmaceutical remuneration

2. 1st April 2013 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Health and Social Care Act 2008

(a) section 141(1);

(b) section 166, in so far as it relates to the repeals mentioned in paragraph (c); and

(c) the entries in Part 4 of Schedule 15 that relate to section 164(5) of the National Health Service Act 2006( 2 ) (remuneration for persons providing pharmaceutical services).
