The Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2013

The Lord Chancellor makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 148(5) and (6) of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007( 1 ).

Citation and interpretation

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2013.

(2) In this Order “the 2007 Act” means the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 .

Commencement of provisions of the 2007 Act

2. Sections 48(1) and 146 of the 2007 Act come into force on 19th August 2013 to the extent that they relate to—

(a) paragraph 24 of Schedule 8 to the 2007 Act (omission of section 5 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992);

(b) paragraph 27 of Schedule 8 to the 2007 Act (omission of section 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992) insofar as not already in force, and

(c) the entries in Part 1 of Schedule 23 to the 2007 Act (repeals: tribunals and inquiries) relating to sections 5 and 8 of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992( 2 ).
