The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 3(4) of Schedule 1 to the Health and Social Care Act 2008( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Care Quality Commission (Membership) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and come into force on 1st October 2013.

Amendment to the Care Quality Commission (Membership) Regulations 2008

2. In regulation 2 of the Care Quality Commission (Membership) Regulations 2008( 2 ), for “not more than twelve” substitute “not more than fourteen”.
