The Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 (Commencement No.1) Order 2013

The Lord President of the Council makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25(1) and 27(1) and (4) of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013( 1 ).

1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 (Commencement No.1) Order 2013.

2. The following provisions of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made—

(a) section 2(6);

(b) section 13(2), so far as it relates to the provisions specified in paragraph (d) of this article;

(c) Schedule 2 (sharing and checking information etc );

(d) paragraphs 4(4) and 9(1) and (5) to (7) of Schedule 5 (transitional provision to do with Part 1).
