The Defamation Act 2013 (Commencement) (England and Wales) Order 2013

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 17(4) of the Defamation Act 2013( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Defamation Act 2013 (Commencement) (England and Wales) Order 2013.

Appointed day

2.The Defamation Act 2013 comes into force on 1st January 2014 so far as it is not already in force.
