The Pensions Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(4) of the Pensions Act 2011( 1 ).

Citation and interpretation

1. This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013.

Commencement of provisions

2. The following provisions of the Pensions Act 2011 come into force on 13th March 2013—

(a) section 22 (Pension Protection Fund) in so far as it is not already in force; and

(b) the following paragraphs of Schedule 4 (Pension Protection Fund)

(i) paragraph 1 (introductory provision for amendments to the Pensions Act 2004( 2 )) in so far as it is not already in force;

(ii) paragraphs 21 to 28 (postponement of compensation); and

(iii) paragraphs 29 to 36 (pension compensation sharing: postponement of compensation).
