The School Information (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2013

The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 537 and 569(4) of the Education Act 1996( 1 ):

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the School Information (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and come into force on the 1st September 2013.

Amendment of the School Information (England) Regulations 2008

2. —(1)The School Information (England) Regulations 2008( 2 ) are amended as follows.

(2) In Schedule 4 (specified information to be published on the school’s website), after paragraph 12 insert—

13. In respect of a school in receipt of an allocation from the Year 7 literacy and numeracy catch-up premium grant ( 3 ) , details of:

(a) how it is intended that the current academic year’s allocation will be spent; and

(b) how the previous academic year’s allocation was spent; the effect of this expenditure on the educational attainment of those pupils at the school in respect of whom grant funding was allocated; and how that effect has been assessed.

The Year 7 literacy and numeracy catch-up premium grant is the sum of money paid under that name annually to a local authority under section 14 of the Education Act 2002 (c.32) on condition that it be allocated to maintained schools with eligible pupils in year 7.
