The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Scheme in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980( 1 ) and now vested in him( 2 ) and( 3 ):-

1. This Scheme may be cited as the A6 (M) Motorway (Stockport North-South Bypass) and Connecting Roads Scheme 1989 (Revocation) Order 2014. and shall come into force on 30th April 2014.

2. The A6 (M) Motorway (Stockport North-South Bypass) and Connecting Roads Scheme 1989 is hereby revoked.
