The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of their powers conferred by section 21(2) of the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 2014( 1 ), make the following Order:

Citation and interpretation

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 2014 (Appointed Day No. 1) Order 2014.

(2) In this Order “the Measure” means the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 2014.

Commencement

2. —(1) All the provisions of the Measure which have not yet been commenced, other than those specified in paragraph (2), come into force on the day on which this Order is made.

(2) The provisions referred to in paragraph (1) are—

(a) section 2;

(b) section 7;

(c) section 12;

(d) paragraphs 7 and 9, and sub-paragraphs (4), (5) and (12) of paragraph 19 of Schedule 2.
