The Energy Act 2004 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2014

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 198(2) of the Energy Act 2004( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and interpretation

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Energy Act 2004 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2014.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Energy Act 2004.

Commencement

2. For all remaining purposes, section 89 (activities offshore requiring 1989 Act licences) and section 180(1) (meaning of ‘high voltage line’) of the Act come into force on 10th June 2014.
