The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Energy Act 2013( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Contracts for Difference (Counterparty Designation) Order 2014 and comes into force on 1st August 2014.

Low Carbon Contracts Company Ltd

2. Low Carbon Contracts Company Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 08818711, being an eligible person( 2 ), is designated with that person’s consent under section 7 of the Energy Act 2013 as a counterparty for contracts for difference.
