The Intellectual Property Act 2014 (Commencement No.1) Order 2014

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) and (2) of the Intellectual Property Act 2014( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Intellectual Property Act 2014 (Commencement Order No.1) Order 2014.

Interpretation

2. In this Order “the Act” means the Intellectual Property Act 2014.

Commencement

3. The day appointed for the coming into force of section 10(2) of the Act for the purposes of appointing the appointed person under sections 27A(1)(a) and 27B of the Registered Designs Act 1949( 2 ) is 15th July 2014.
