The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 71(3) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974( 1 ), makes the following Order.

Citation, application and commencement

1. This Orderβ€”

(a) may be cited as the Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) (Revocation) (England) Order 2014;

(b) applies in England; and

(c) comes into force on 1st October 2014.

Revocation

2.The Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) Order 1981( 2 ) is revoked.
