The Bathing Water (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2014

The Secretary of State is designated( 1 ) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972( 2 ) in relation to the environment.

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by that section of that Act.

Title, commencement and application

1. β€”(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Bathing Water (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 1st October 2014.

(2) These Regulations apply to England.

Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Bathing Water Regulations 2013

2. β€”(1)Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Bathing Water Regulations 2013( 3 ) is amended as follows

(2) In the appropriate places, insert the followingβ€”

(a) β€œAinsdale”;

(b) β€œAllonby”;

(c) β€œCrinnis”;

(d) β€œHenleaze Lake”;

(e) β€œShoreham Beach”;

(f) β€œShorthorn”;

(g) β€œSouthsea East”.

(3) Omit the followingβ€”

(a) β€œAskam-in-Furness”;

(b) β€œCrinnis Golf Links”;

(c) β€œCrinnis Leisure Centre”;

(d) β€œRoan Head”

(e) β€œSouthsea”.
