The Defence Reform Act 2014 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2014

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 50(1) and (2) of the Defence Reform Act 2014( 1 ):

Citation and interpretation

1. This Order may be cited as the Defence Reform Act 2014 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2014.

2. In this Order “the Act” means the Defence Reform Act 2014.

Commencement

3. The following provisions of the Act come into force on 5 December 2014—

(a) sections 14 to 18;

(b) section 19(2), (3), (5) and (6);

(c) sections 20 to 36;

(d) sections 38 and 39;

(e) section 43;

(f) paragraph 10(2) to (6) of Schedule 4;

(g) Schedule 5, with the exception of paragraph 2(5) and paragraph 6(4).
