The Care Act 2014 (Commencement No.3) Order 2014

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 127(1) of the Care Act 2014( 1 ).

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Care Act 2014 (Commencement No.3) Order 2014.

Provisions coming into force on 1st April 2015

2. 1st April 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Care Act 2014

(a) section 96 (Health Education England) and section 97 (planning education and training for health care workers etc. ) insofar as they are not already in force;

(b) section 98 (ensuring sufficient skilled health care workers for the health service) to section 103 (Local Education and Training Boards);

(c) section 104 (LETBs: appointment etc.) and section 105 (LETBs: co-operation by providers of health services) insofar as they are not already in force;

(d) section 106 (education and training plans) to section 108 (tariffs);

(e) section 119 (chapters 1 and 2: interpretation and supplementary provision) insofar as it is not already in force; and

(f) Schedule 5 (Health Education England) and Schedule 6 (Local Education and Training Boards) insofar as they are not already in force.
