The HGV Road User Levy (Exemption of Vehicles) Regulations 2014

The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(3) of the HGV Road User Levy Act 2013( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the HGV Road User Levy (Exemption of Vehicles) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 1st April 2014.

Exemption of Vehicles

2. HGV road user levy is not charged in respect of vehicles within paragraph 11(2) of Schedule 1 to the 1994 Act (certain tractive units charged to vehicle excise duty at the basic goods vehicle rate)( 2 ).
