The CMA Registers of Undertakings and Orders (Available Hours) Order 2014

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 91(6) and 166(6) of the Enterprise Act 2002( 1 ) hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the CMA Registers of Undertakings and Orders (Available Hours) Order 2014 and comes into force on 1st April 2014.

(2) In this Order—

the register” means a register maintained by the CMA under section 91 or 166 of the Enterprise Act 2002 ; and

working day” means any day which is not Saturday, Sunday, Good Friday, Christmas Day, a bank holiday or public holiday in England and Wales or any other day on which the office of the CMA at which the register is available to the public is closed for business.

Available Hours

2. The CMA shall ensure that the contents of the register are available to the public (as a minimum) between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.00 pm on any working day.

Revocation

3. The OFT Registers of Undertakings and Orders (Available Hours) Order 2003( 2 ) is revoked.
