The West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (Dissolution) Order 2014

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 166 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980( 1 ).

In accordance with section 166(2) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted Northamptonshire County Council, South Northamptonshire Council, Daventry District Council and Northampton Borough Council (being the local authorities in whose area the relevant urban development area is situated).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation (Dissolution) Order 2014 and shall come into force on 31st March 2014.

Dissolution of the Corporation

2. The West Northamptonshire Development Corporation shall be dissolved on 31st July 2014.
