The Crime and Courts Act 2013 (Commencement No. 10 and Transitional Provision) Order 2014

The Lord Chancellor makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by sections 60 and 61(3) of the Crime and Courts Act 2013( 1 ).
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Crime and Courts Act 2013 (Commencement No. 10 and Transitional Provision) Order 2014.
Provisions coming into force on 22nd April 2014
2. The following provisions of the Crime and Courts Act 2013, so far as not already in force, come into force on 22nd April 2014—
(a) section 17 (Civil and family proceedings in England and Wales);
(b) section 28 (Disclosure of information for calculating fees of courts, tribunals, etc. );
(c) Schedule 9 (Single County Court in England and Wales);
(d) Schedule 10 (The family court);
(e) Schedule 11 (Transfer of jurisdiction to family court).
Transitional provision
3. Any judgment, order, warrant, direction or other act of a county court before 22nd April 2014 (except one in relation to proceedings under jurisdiction transferred to the family court established under section 31A of the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Act 1984( 2 )) is to have the same effect on and after that date as if it had been a judgment, direction, order or other act of the county court established under section A1 of the County Courts Act 1984( 3 ).
