The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 115(9) of the Deregulation Act 2015( 1 ):

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Deregulation Act 2015 (Commencement No. 1 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2015.

Amendment of Order

2. —(1) The Deregulation Act 2015 (Commencement No. 1 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Order 2015( 2 ) is amended as follows.

(2) In article 13 (transitional provision) after “Parts 2 and 3 of Schedule 2,” insert “section 9 and Schedule 3”.

(3) In the Schedule, after Part 3 insert —

Part 3A

Transitional provision relating to the commencement of section 9 of, and Schedule 3 to, the Act.

The amendments made by section 9 of, and Schedule 3 to, the Act do not affect sections 151 and 152 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 ( 3 ) as they apply to any policy or security that has been cancelled —

(a) by mutual consent; or

(b) by virtue of any provision contained in it,

before 30th June 2015.
