The Serious Crime Act 2015 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2015

The Secretary of State, having consulted the Department of Justice in Northern Ireland in accordance with section 88(7)(e) of the Serious Crime Act 2015( 1 ), makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 88(1) of that Act.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Serious Crime Act 2015 (Commencement No. 2) Regulations 2015.

Provisions coming into force on 17th July 2015

2. The following provisions of the Serious Crime Act 2015 come into force on 17th July 2015—

(a) section 73 (female genital mutilation protection orders);

(b) section 85(1) (minor and consequential amendments), for the purposes of the provisions listed in sub-paragraph (c) of this regulation; and

(c) in Schedule 4 (minor and consequential amendments)

(i) paragraph 5;

(ii) paragraph 13;

(iii) paragraph 17;

(iv) paragraph 87(2); and

(v) paragraph 88.
