The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 112 of the Saint Helena Act 1833( 1 ), the British Settlements Acts 1887 and 1945( 2 ), and all of the other powers enabling Her to do so, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent

1. β€”(1) This Order may be cited as the Syria (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2015 and comes into force on 13th August 2015.

(2) In this Order, β€œthe principal Order” means the Syria (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2012( 3 ).

(3) This Order extends to the territories listed in Schedule 1 to the principal Order.

Amendment to the principal Order

2. β€”(1) The principal Order is amended as follows.

(2) In article 15A( 4 ) (offences related to Syrian cultural property), in paragraph (2)(a) for β€œ9 May 2011” substitute β€œ15th March 2011”.
