The Merchant Shipping (United Kingdom Wreck Convention Area) Order 2015

The Secretary of State, in accordance with section 255R of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (United Kingdom Wreck Convention Area) Order 2015.

(2) This Order comes into force on 14th April 2015.

The United Kingdom’s Convention Area

2. The United Kingdom’s Convention Area comprises—

(a) the United Kingdom;

(b) United Kingdom waters; and

(c) the United Kingdom’s exclusive economic zone( 2 ).
