The Mink and Coypus (Revocations) (England) Regulations 2015

The Secretary of State, with the approval of the Treasury, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Destructive Imported Animals Act 1932( 1 ), as applied under section 10 of that Act in relation to mink by the Mink Keeping (Prohibition) (England) Order 2004( 2 ) and in relation to coypus by the Coypus (Prohibition on Keeping) Order 1987( 3 ).
Citation, commencement and application
1. β(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Mink and Coypus (Revocations) (England) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 6th April 2015.
(2) These Regulations apply in relation to England only.

2. The Regulations listed in the Schedule are revoked.

1932 c. 12 . Functions of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food under section 2 were transferred to that Minister and the Secretary of State for Wales jointly by the Transfer of Functions (Wales) Order 1969 ( S.I. 1969/388 ), article 3 and Schedule 2, Part 2. Functions of the Secretary of State for Scotland under section 2 were transferred to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by the Transfer of Functions (Agriculture and Food) Order 1999 ( S.I. 1999/3141 ), article 2(1) and the Schedule. Functions under section 2, so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, were transferred to the National Assembly for Wales, by the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 ( S.I. 1999/672 ), article 2 and Schedule 1 (and functions of the National Assembly for Wales were transferred to the Welsh Ministers by section 162 of, and paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to, the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c. 32) ). Functions of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food were transferred to the Secretary of State by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Dissolution) Order 2002 ( S.I. 2002/794 ), article 2. The Destructive Imported Animals Act 1932 was repealed in relation to Scotland by the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (asp 6) , Part 2 of the Schedule.
