The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 20(1) of the Offender Rehabilitation Act 2014( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Offender Rehabilitation Act 2014 (Incidental Provision) Order 2015 and comes into force on 13th April 2015.

Application of Article 22 of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 to amendments made to Schedule 1 to the Crime (Sentences) Act 1997 by Schedule 3 to the Offender Rehabilitation Act 2014

2. The reference to ‘county court’ in the second column of the table in paragraph 9(11) of Schedule 1 to the Crime (Sentences) Act 1997( 2 ) shall be construed as if Article 22 (powers of appellate courts) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954( 3 ) applies to it.

1997 c. 43 . Paragraph 9(11) was inserted the Offender Rehabilitation Act 2014, Schedule 3, paragraph 5(5). There have been other amendments to Schedule 1 to the Crime Sentences Act 1997 that are not relevant to the subject matter of this Order.
