The Immigration Act 2014 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2015

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 73(1) and 75(3) of the Immigration Act 2014( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration Act 2014 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2015.

Provisions coming into force on 6th April 2015

2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Immigration Act 2014 is 6th April 2015—

(a) section 39 (related provision: charges for health services);

(b) section 73(6) (transitional and consequential provision) so far as is necessary for the purpose of the provision listed in sub-paragraph (c); and

(c) Part 9 of Schedule 9 (provision relating to persons unable to acquire nationality because natural father not married to mother).
