The Drug Driving (Specified Limits) (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2015

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 5A of the Road Traffic Act 1988( 1 ) and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act.

A draft of these Regulations was laid before Parliament in accordance with section 195(4)( 2 ) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

Citation, commencement and extent

1. β€”(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Drug Driving (Specified Limits) (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into force 21 days after the day they are made.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Amendment of the Drug Driving (Specified Limits) (England and Wales) Regulations 2014

2. In the table in regulation 2 of the Drug Driving (Specified Limits) (England and Wales) Regulations 2014( 3 ) insert as the first entryβ€”

(a) in the first column β€œAmphetamine”; and

(b) in the second column β€œ250”.
