The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Commencement) (England) Order 2015

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 100 (3)(a), (5) and (6) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and application

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Commencement) (England) Order 2015.

(2) This Order applies in relation to England only.

Provisions coming into force on 27th May 2015

2. The following provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 come into force on 27th May 2015—

(a) Chapter 3 of Part 3, insofar as it is not already in force;

(b) section 77 and Schedule 5 insofar as they relate to Chapter 3 of Part 3; and

(c) Schedule 9.
