The Secretary of State for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 26(3) and 47 of the Higher Education Act 2004( 1 ), makes the following Regulations.

Citation, commencement and application

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Student Fees (Inflation Index) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into force on 6th January 2017.

(2) These Regulations apply to England.

Index of Prices

2. In regulation 2 of the Student Fees (Inflation Index) Regulations 2006( 2 ) for “the Office of National Statistics” substitute “the Office for Budget Responsibility”.
