The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 129(1) of the Education Reform Act 1988( 1 ).

Citation, commencement and application

1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Education (Designated Institutions) (England) Order 2016 and comes into force on 9th March 2016.

(2) This Order applies in relation to England.

Designation of institution

2. The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, being an institution which appears to the Secretary of State to fall within section 129(2) of the Education Reform Act 1988, is designated as an institution eligible to receive support from funds administered by the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
