By the Lords of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council

Their Lordships make the following Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 34D(3) and 34K(1)(c) of the Medical Act 1983( 1 ).

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training (Amendment) Order of Council 2016 and comes into force on 1st day of April 2016.

Amendment

2. In Part 2 of the Schedule to the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Order of Council 2010( 2 ) (recognised specialties within the United Kingdom), at the appropriate place in the alphabetical order insert “Aviation and space medicine”.
