The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 59 and 60 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990( 1 ), makes the following Order:

Citation and Commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (Operation Stack) Special Development (Amendment) Order 2016 and comes into force on 31st May 2016.

Amendment of Order

2. The Town and Country Planning (Operation Stack) Special Development Order 2015( 2 ) is amended as follows.

3. In article 3 (temporary planning permission), in paragraph (2) for “on 1st June 2016” substitute “at the end of 31st December 2017”.

4. In article 4 (conditions and limitations), in paragraph (3) for “1st June 2016” substitute “31st December 2017”.
