The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972( 1 ) and section 56(1) of the Finance Act 1973( 2 ).
The Secretary of State has been designated( 3 ) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to the control of the import and export of goods.
In accordance with section 56(1) of the Finance Act 1973, the Treasury consents to the making of these Regulations.
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into force on 1st November 2016.
Amendment of the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Regulations 2012
2. —(1)The Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Regulations 2012( 4 ) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 5A, for “£31” substitute “£9.60”.
(3) In regulation 13, for paragraph 4 substitute—
“ (4) The first report under this regulation must be published on or before 20th February 2022. ”
