The Housing and Planning Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2016

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 216(3) of the Housing and Planning Act 2016( 1 ) makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Housing and Planning Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2016.

Provisions coming into force on 1st October 2016

2. The following provisions of the Housing and Planning Act 2016 come into force on 1st October 2016โ€”

(a) sections 80 to 91 (rents for high income social tenants); and

(b) the following provisions of Schedule 15 and section 183 (notice of general vesting declaration procedure) so far as it relates to those provisionsโ€“

(i) paragraphs 1, 2(1) and 2(2) for the purpose only of exercising the power to prescribe by regulations the statement referred to in section 15(4)(e) of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981( 2 ) and the form referred to in section 15(4)(f) of that Act;

(ii) paragraphs 1, 3(1) and 3(2) for the purpose only of exercising the power to prescribe by regulations the statement referred to in paragraph 6(4)(e) of Schedule 1 to the Acquisition of Land Act 1981 and the form referred to in paragraph 6(4)(f) of Schedule 1 to that Act; and

(iii) paragraph 8.
